Mercedes Sprinter / VW Crafter Spare Wheel Carrier

Here is our rear wheel carrier, designed to give you maximum clearance and accessibility to the rear of your van. 

This enables you to still add and remove your mountain bike with ease and without the hassle of climbing up and down the rear end of your van tying to tie down your bike. 

Accessing the spare tyre is a rare occasion and for that reason, we here at UK sprinter opted for a different approach with this specific spare wheel carrier. It comes complete with all the fittings and fixtures for you to complete the install. Constructed in steel for maximum strength and stability while on the trail. 

It comes finished in our two stage powder coat stain black finish, finished off with our stainless steel logo. 

This particular carrier also comes with a four hole stud pattern in the center of the wheel holder, allowing fitting of auxiliary parts such as jerry cans etc. 

The center locator hub of the wheel carrier is designed to allow you easy and simple alignment of the wheel when installing, eliminating the struggle of you holding the wheel up long enough to line up your stud pattern and fit you're wheel bolts. 

This simply works by supporting the wheel once up and allowing you to rotate it freely while fitting. 

This wheel carrier also give you the full use of your door and bump stop, extended bump stop will need to be obtained separately if your vehicle dose not have the long version already installed.

This particular wheel carrier utilises your original bump stop hole and hinges to mount and will also need an additional hole in the upper window area for maximum stability. 

This may give you loss of a rear window depending on what style if you were to install one. 

Modification to your rear hinges may be needed.

This will fit the following vehicles Mercedes sprinter w906 2007 to 2018 MWB/LWB.  VW Crafter 2E/2F up to 2016
