This is the uk sprinter roof rail kit for the LWB sprinter w906/w907 to present day and VW Crafter 2e/2f 2006 to 2016. Made of light weight Chanel , nearly half the weight of your standard steel uni strut. This versatile Chanel is a must if you’re kiting out your van roof and trying to keep it simple. This addopts the exact same fittings and fixture of the uni strut we all love and know, with a few key differences. The first being that its nearly half the weight yet still maintains the strength of steel. The second being that you don’t have to slide all your fixtures out to simply add another . We use hot galv inserts that do not rust and easily twist into place anywhere along the rail. Sometimes sliding out fittings isn’t an option. These easily just twist into place. The kit also comes complete with finishing covers that you can cut down and install along the open surface of the rail to prevent dirt and debris entering the Chanel. The rails come in satin black two stage powder coat for maximum longevity. You will also receive custom uk sprinter end caps with a built in drainage chanel to allow water to exit from either end of your rails. The pre drilled holes on our rails line up with the factory holes on your van , without the need for drilling. These rails give you a solid foundation for and future installs / roof racks. One of the up sides of this kit is the solar panel mounts which you can purchase separately to simply add you solar panels with ease. Install these rails using a bed of polyurethane seal of your choice. Make sure all parts and pieces have been degreased before install . If your unsure professional install is advised as always.
